Food Drive 2018 is underway! ASB and JROTC has teamed up to raise two tons or 4,000 pounds of nonperishable food. If every student brought in only three pounds of food in cans, or dried products like pasta and rice, we can easily reach our goal. Please help feed the hungry this holiday season by donating. Look for a donation box in classrooms of participating teachers or drop off in JROTC, room 417. Food drive ends November 28.

GCU will be providing pizza during lunch time and will begin their presentation during fifth period. If interested please pick up a permission slip from the counseling office. Juniors/Seniors Permission slips for the Hispanic College Fair will be due November 26 and return the permission slip to Dr. Mora. If you are planning to attend this informative conference at University of San Diego, please make sure you are excused Period 2-4. You will receive information regarding admissions to various college, financial aid, scholarship information etc. Again, do not wait until the very end. It is first come first served.

There will be another FAFSA and College Application workshop this Wednesday, November 7th in Room 200 at lunch time. This is a great opportunity to get those applications turned in if you haven't already done so or get your application questions answered. If you submitted a permission slip for the CalSoap College Fair, YOU ARE GOING!!!! We got enough space for everybody that submitted a permission slip. We will meeting in Room 411 at 2:00pm for check in and will be loading in the bus at 3:45. Lunch will be provided. We depart from the Scottish Rite Center at 7:15 and should be back to Serra at 7:30. Please make arrangements with parents for pick up.
