Attention seniors interested in the Fashion Industry!
FIDM, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising will be here at Serra on November 4th during fourth period. If you are interested in learning all about fashion, please stop by the counseling office to pick up a permission slip form the college wall. In order to attend this presentation you must turn in your signed permission slip by your fourth period teacher and turn in at the door on the day of the presentation.

There will be a College Faire at the Scottish Rite Center on Wednesday, December 4th from 8:45-11:45. There will be 50 Representatives coming to speak on admissions, financial aid, SAT etc. There are only 25 spaces available and it is first come first Serve. You may get a permission slip from the Counseling Office. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity.

On Tuesday November 5th the ASVAB will be administered to all interested students. The ASVAB is used to determine enlistment eligibility for potential recruits, assign recruits to military jobs, and aid students in career exploration. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB please sign up on the sign up sheet in front of Mr. Stewart's office.

Attention Senior Athletes! Have you been offered a scholarship at a College or University? Do you plan on Signing a Letter of Intent? The San Diego Sports Association is hosting the annual College National Letter of Intent Signing Day on Wednesday, November 13, at Petco Park starting at 8 a.m. This is for you and your entire family to attend as seniors from around the county come and celebrate their intent to compete in Intercollegiate athletics.

If you need a Student Brag Sheet, please pick one up from the Counseling Office ASAP. Please note that the UC and CSU system does not require Letters of Recommendation only the Private colleges and check the deadline of when it is due. Check the website of the particular college you are applying. All Brag Sheets Student/Parent must be typed and return to Dr. Mora. If you want a particular counselor to write your Letter of Recommendation please write the counselor’s name. Remember the deadline is to December 6. Do not wait until the very end and miss out on this opportunity of admissions. Submit your Brag Sheet ASAP.
