Are you planning on enrolling in college courses for next
year?? If so, there is a mandatory meeting that you and a parent must
attend in order to be eligible to take a college course starting in Fall
2020/Spring 2021. Due to the high number of students requesting college courses
we have arranged to host two separate meeting nights. Students with Last
names A-L must attend March 16; students with last names M-Z must attend March
18. Both meetings will be held in the Media Center and are scheduled to
begin at 6:00pm. If you are not able to attend on your scheduled date you
can attend on the other night. ALL STUDENTS AND PARENT MUST ATTEND, EVEN
IF YOU ALREADY ATTENDED A MEETING LAST YEAR.

If you are not an athlete currently in a winter or spring sport and are interested in participating in the student dance in the pep rally, be sure to sign up outside the ASB room! If you are in a winter or spring sport, your captains will be contacted. There are going to be practices Wednesday and Thursday, February 19 and 20, during lunch in the gym! Make sure to be there if you want to participate.

Attention Juniors! Interviews for Girls State and Boys State are coming soon! This is a TOTALLY FREE summer leadership/government week-long program. We are excited to keep the legacy going at Serra High. American Legion Boys State and American Legion Auxiliary Girls State are the premier programs for teaching how government works while developing leadership skills & an appreciation for your rights as a citizen. As a participant in the program you, will run for office, learn public speaking, create and enforce laws and actively participate in all phases of creating and running a working government in this exciting and fun week-long FREE summer program. It also looks great on your college applications and resume. Please see Mr. Stewart in the counseling office by Tuesday February 18th if you are interested in being considered.
